Follow the path to the Lighthouse…
Perhaps take a detour to El Melal Street…
Or stop to look at some street art…
Then continue along the high street…
And stop off for some koshary—a glorious overload of carbs (noodles, rice, and macaroni) with some lentils thrown in for good measure, topped by crispy fried onions and spicy tomato sauce.
Then carry on to the Bridge. The big empty expanse of tarmac allows the water to run into the sea during a storm instead of destroying the buildings either side.

Yes, there really is a Mexican restaurant next to the bridge, and I highly recommend it.
